Moga, Sep 21 : A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from her house by four men and later one of them raped her at Khosa Pando village here, police said Friday.
Her family complained that the accused, between 18 to 20 years and residents of the same village, abducted her on Wednesday and took her to a field in the village where one of them raped her, the police said.
Satwinder Singh allegedly raped the girl, while Luvpreet Singh, Harpreet Singh and Luvpreet Singh helped him in abducting her, the police said.
The girl’s family alleged that the accused used to harass her on her way to school and back home.
A case has been registered against Satwinder on the charges of rape and abduction and the rest three have been booked on the charges of abduction and criminal conspiracy. All accused have been also booked under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Raids were being conducted to arrest them, the police said. PTI
