Government forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Hajin locality of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday morning.
An official said that a joint team of army’s 13 RR unit and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police launched the CASO in Parr locality of Hajin.
“The operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area,” he said.
Searches were going on when last reports came.
