As the government formation in J&K is beginning to take shape, an important player Congress has called a crucial meeting in New Delhi on Friday in order to decide about its participation in the government. Highly reliable sources in the party told that the situation was still unclear but admitted that ” informal talks” were undergoing with both regional parties . He added that it was still cloudy as what role Congress can play in the proposed government formation.
Meanwhile, another senior leader of the Central Command of the Congress Party told that an important and very crucial meeting has been called on Friday at 11 am in New Delhi which would take a final call whether party should be the part of the coilation or support it from outside. He added that many senior leaders of JkPCC including it’s chief G A Mir have been called to Delhi for the meeting which would be attended by Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ambika Soni and other senior leaders.
Mir has been asked to reach Delhi by this evening and he was to leave from Srinagar airport at 4 o’clock. another Senior leader Tariq Hameed Karra is as per sources already camping in New Delhi from last several days whereas some other legislators and senior leaders are likely to leave on Thursday. The party is likely to announce it’s decision only after holding discussions with the state leaders.
Pertinently Gh Nabi Azad also during the day had said that only is suggestion has come and they are discussing it informally as of now.
