Jammu, Dec 21: A house collapsed in a mysterious explosion on Friday in Gangyal area here in city outskirts.
Police said that a house completely damaged while the household items also destroyed in the fire triggered after the blast.
They further added that the matter is being investigated.
“As per initial reports, due to smoke erupted out of fire broke out in the house, gases might have accumulated and it exploded but we are verifying the facts,” DySP Summaiya Wani, SDPO South said.
Meanwhile locals added that they heard a powerful sound and rushed out of their house to know the cause and found house collapsed.
However, a team of FSL was rushed to the spot to collect evidences and find out cause of explosion.
“No injury was reported as of now due to explosion,” said police.
