Jammu, Sep 22: Uday Chib on Saturday was elected as the new president of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress.
Chib with 5000 votes, defeated his contender Pankaj Basotra, by 1500 votes.
He had earlier remained on the post of General secretary of All India National Student Union of India (NSUI).
The new youth president will replace Mr Pranav Shagotra.
