A woman died and eight other passengers were injured in a road accident near the Line of Control (LoC) in Machhil area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday.
Reports said that a passenger vehicle heading towatds Kupwara from Ring area skidded off the road near Yaribehak Machhil, leaving nine persons injured.
They said the injured were rushed to Public health Centre Dudi where an injured woman succumbed.
