SRINAGAR, MAY 23: Various delegations today called on Minister for Forest, Ecology & Environment, Rajiv Jasrotia.
One of the delegations led by Member Parliament Mir Fayaz Ahmad raised an issue regarding the permission for construction of school under RAMSA at Tumina Village. The Minister on the occasion directed Principal Chief Conservator forests to process the case and called for the formation of Forest Advisory Committee headed by Chief Secretary to solve the issue on priority basis.
Another delegation of Bakerwals from HarduAkar from Bijbehara apprised the minister with regard to grazing of cattle.
The Minister gave them a patient hearing and assured the delegations that their issues will be looked into.
