A private car met with an accident at Z-Gali in Machhil area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district late Sunday evening, resulting into death of two occupants.
Another person on board was injured in the mishap which took place after their car heading towards Kupwara turned turtle and rolled down into a deep gorge.
The deceased were identified as Aijaz Ahmad Dar of Thayen Kalaroose and Syed Nayeem Ahmad Indrabi of Kantpora Lolab.
The injured, identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar of Sogam Lolab, was shifted to PHC Kalaroose where from he was referred to SDH Kupwara for further treatment.
All the three occupants were working as patwaris in the revenue department.
