RAMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 24: Tehsil Information Center (TIC), Ramnagar today organized a debate contest on the topic, ‘Smart phone a friend or foe’ here at Government High School, Kalwanta.
The head master of the school, Shiv Ditta was the chief guest on the occasion.
Around 10 students of the school participated in the debate and threw light on the subject.
Anju Rani of class 10th secured 1st position while the 2nd position was bagged by Sakshi Thakur of class 9th and the third position was clinched by Mohd Rizwan of class 10th.
Besides, two consolation prizes were given to Parveen Singh of class 10th and Anju Devi of class 10th. Jaswant Singh, Raj Singh, and Makhan Singh acted as judges.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the tireless efforts of Information department for holding debate competition on the important topics.
Ditta urged the information department for organizing more such awareness events for the benefit of student community as well as society.
Later, the chief guest awarded prizes and certificates to the winners.
