Government forces on Saturday claimed to have busted a hideout of the militants in Panzgam village of Awantipora township in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A hideout of Islamic State of Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK) militant outfit was busted during a joint operation by the Jammu and Kashmir police and army’s 55 Rashtriya Rifles, said an official.
SP Awantipora Mohammed Zahid Malik told media that the hideout seems to be very old. “War like stores besides some utensils, eating commodities and few blankets were recovered,” he said.
