Chandigarh: The Congress demanded the arrest of city MP Kirron Kher’s adviser Sahdev Salaria in the F Bar firing case.
Former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, while addressing mediapersons, said pressure was being mounted on the police to save the main suspect.

Accusing the police of holding a tardy investigation into the case, he demanded that Salaria’s name be included in the FIR as he was the organiser of the party, where the firing incident took place.

Bansal further said under the BJP rule, the law and order situation in the city had deteriorated. Conforming to Bansal’s suspicion, city Congress president Pradeep Chhabra said they would stage a protest tomorrow. He vowed to continue the stir till Salaria’s arrest.

The city Congress chief said the BJP inducted people from the criminal background into the party, for which Kher and city BJP president Sanjay Tandon were responsible.
