Shutdown in south Kashmir to mourn militant killings

Shutdown is being observed in south Kashmir districts today to mourn the killings of six militants in a gunfight with the government forces in Bijbehara yesterday.

Reports said that complete shutdown is being observed in Anantnag, Kulgam and Pulwama districts while Shopian remained partially shut.

Six militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba and Hizb ul Mujahideen outfits were killed in a gunfight with the forces in Bijbehara yesterday morning.
