LeT commander slain in Bijbehara gunfight buried after seven rounds of funeral prayers

Lashkar-e-Toiba district commander Firdose Ahmad who was killed on Friday along with his five associates in Satkipora gun fight was today interred at his ancestral graveyard in Muchpuna village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Thousands of people from the adjoining and far-off places reached the native village of slain militant commander and participated in his last rites.

After seven rounds of funeral prayers, Mir was laid to rest at around 11:30 am.

Sources said Mir had joined the militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba on May 17, 2017 and was elevated to the rank of district commander for Pulwama a few months ago.
