We might be loosing the perception war in Kashmir, we might be loosing men, both civilian and security personnel, we may have serious issues on our hands but Ramban police has its priorities set.
Here is why and what of it:
Continuing its efforts to check the menace of bovine smuggling, today on the directions of SSP RAMBAN Ms Anita Sharma KPS, police parties led by SHO Ramban Insp Vijay Kotwal, SHO Chanderkote Insp Abid Bukhari, SHO Dharamkund Insp Ajeet Singh & ICPP Rajghar SI Sunil Sharma,under supervision of DYSP Hqrs Ramban Asgar Malik KPS & under close supervision of Adll SP Sh Sanjay Parihar KPS, laid surprise nakas at various places. During frisking & checking of vehicles, 01Truck bearing reg. no JK JK02F/9137 & one load carrier without reg.no. got intercepted near Shan Palace, jd of P/S Ramban and on search of the said vehicles both found loaded with 25 bovine animals.
01 truck bearing reg no. Jk02AL/6095 got intercepted at Chanderkote, jd of P/S Chanderkote, on search found loaded with 20 bovine animals & similarly 02 vehicles(load Carriers)one without bearing reg no.got intercepted in the JD of P/S Dharamkund & other bearing Reg. No.JK19/ 1922 got intercepted in the JD of PP Rajghar and both found loaded with 06&04 bovine animals respectively. All the above stated vehicles were found involved in illegally transporting bovine animals towards kashmir without seeking proper permission from the concerned authorities. Total, 55 bovine animals have been rescued from the clutches of bovine smugglers. Moreover, all the above said vehicles have been seized & 05 suspected person’s namely:-01)Parveen Singh S/O Sardar Singh R/O RS Pura,Jammu02)Mohd Aslam S/O Farid Ahmed R/O Parnote 03) Mohd Shakeel S/O Mohd R/O JP gate Chanderkote 04)Mohd Mushtaq S/O Mohd Yousif R/O Phalty 05)Harbans Singh S/O Nana Singh R/O Chak Mohd Yar RS Pura Jammu have been taken into custody. In this regard case FIR No. 191/2018 & 192/18 & 193/18 U/S 188RPC, 3 PC Act stands registered at Police Station Ramban, FIR NO. 68/18 U/S 188 RPC, 3PC act stand registerd at P/S Chanderkote & FIR NO 50/18 U/S 188 RPC,3PC act stand registered at P/S Dharamkund respectively and investigation taken up to ascertain the source & other persons involed in the crime.
