A militant was killed in a brief gunfight in Bathin area of Khrew in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, police said.
A police offical said that a JeM militant who is yet to be identified was killed in an shootout with J&K police and 50 RR at Bathin.
Arms and ammunition were recovered from the gunfight site, he said.
“Searches are underway to trace other militants in the area,” he said.
