Unknown persons stole a power transformer from a village in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district last night.
Reports said that unknown persons stole a 250 KV transformer from Tehlipora locality of Harran village in the district.
Executive Engineer, Power Development Department Ganderbal, Javed Ahmed told Greater Kashmir that the stolen transformer fed power to around 75 households.
Station House Officer, police station Ganderbal, Arshid Ahmed said that they are investigating the theft.
