Amritsar, Sept 26, 2018: Amritsar Medical College authorities on Tuesday enforced dress code for girl students. As such, the students will not be allowed to wear Jeans, Capris and Skirts etc.
In the letter conveying the dress code, the college Principal said the girl students attending college wearing western dresses looked improper.
The new dress code will come into force from October 1, 2018.
The girls were asked to wear traditional suit or trousers-shirt during college hours.
Not only girls, the boys too have been asked to wear only formal trousers during the college time.
The teachers were instructed to bring the name, roll number and class of the student violating the dress code to the notice of the Principal.
