The local police on Tuesday arrested three women, all foreign nationals, after they were found to be living in the city without valid documents.
The accused, Varina, Gulro and Manozet of Uzbekistan and were arrested from Sector 68 on Monday night. “During investigation, it was found that they were living in the country without valid documents, following which a case under Sections 420 and 465 had been registered against them at the Phase 8 police station,” said the police, adding that the motive of their illegal stay here was being probed. The trio was produced before local court, which has sent them to three days remand under the police custody.
