Rohtak: Union Minister Birender Singh and INLD leader Abhay Chautala tried to woo Jats at a mahasammelan organised by the All-India Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti (AIJASS) at Jassia village in the district on Sunday.
Taking a dig at Birender, who was seated on the stage during his speech, the INLD leader asked AIJASS members to be cautious while holding talks with the BJP government’s representatives as they had not implemented the agreements reached with the samiti members in the past.
“This time, don’t believe what they say, insist on getting a written copy of the agreement,” Abhay said
In his address, Birender said before politics could not solve all their problems and it would rather divide them. He advised them to keep their social network strong and present their claim for reservation before the National Commission for Backward Classes
