JAMMU, May 27: Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Dr. Nirmal Singh on Sunday released book titled “Safar Zindagi Ka”, a bouquet of stories and poems, written by Rajkumari Razdan at a function organized by Blue Rose Publishers at Press Club here.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Singh lauded the work of Rajkumari Razdan and praised the author for bringing out piece of excellent literature.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker appreciated the efforts of author of well portraying women struggle and how she can showcase her strength to achieve wins overall circumstances.
“It is a privilege to be a part of any literary programme of Kashmiri Pandits who were, are and will be continually contributing enormously in the field of literature no matter where they reside and no matter in which environment they are present, “he added.
Dr. Singh said that authors are instruments which shorten the gap between different states and the countries through their writing technique. He further said that thinkers and academicians have a very important role in sharing their past and present experiences with next generation.
The book preface writer Dr. Rattan Lal Shant and Dr. Agnishekhar also spoke on the occasion and emphasized on the strengths of author to keep readers attached to the stories till it ends.
Paper on the book was read by Yogita Yadav. Rajkumari Razdan extended her heartfelt thanks to all the guests present over there and also appreciated the literaray members for their unconditional support in encouraging her.
Among others, Member Legislative Assembly Ajay Bharti, President Press Club Jammu, Ashwani Kumar, a galaxy of writers, poets, academicians and reputed personalities from all walks of life were present on the occasion.
