RAMBAN, JULY 26: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today chaired a meeting to review the progress on major development project, physical and financial achievements of various centrally sponsored schemes and flagship programmes here at a meeting of line departments.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, GurvinderJeet Singh, Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh, DGM, JKPCC, Xens of PDD, PHE, CEO, CMO, besides officers of JKPHC, JK Housing Board, JKHB and others.
The meeting took detailed review of the status and progress on under construction Degree college buildings at Banihal and Gool, 50 bedded Hospital Banihal, PHC Ukhral, water filtration plant Ramban, Polytechnic College Ramban, Girls Hostel, District Administrative complex, DIET building Banihal, Indoor Stadium Gool, Gujjar and Bakarwal Hostel and Munsif court complex Ukharl.
The DDC directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work on these major development projects to ensure timely completion.
The bottlenecks hampering the works were discussed in detailed and the departments were directed to coordinate for early removal of hindrance.
