In District Kishtwar Scheduled in phase II of Municipal election 2018. today on 27-09-2018 3:00PM the last date and time for receiving nomination papers by Returning officers. A cumulative total of 56 nominations forms have been received by Returning officers (ROs). which includes 40 Males and 16 females.
A total of 18 forms from National Parties, 01 from State party and 37 from Independent candidates have been received. Thereafter the forms will be scrutinized by Returning officers and the candidates can withdraw forms upto 01-10-2018 after which list of contesting candidates shall be finalized in each of the 13 wards of Municipal Committee Kishtwar on Ist Oct. itself.
Ward No. 10 is having minimum number as only two candidates have filled nomination papers and ward No 2 and 13 have got a maximum of 6 candidates each.
Polling shall be held on 10-10-2018 followed by counting on 20-10-2018 and election shall conclude on 27-10-2018.
