Bhaderwah November 27 : Dr Shahid Mughal Chairman Bhaderwah Municipal Committee (BMC) has thanked Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh for sanctioning of prestigious National Institute of High Altitude Medicine at Bhaderwah.
While expressing his gratitude towards Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh and Union Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, for having conceded the demand to set up the first-of-its-kind “Institute for High Altitude Medicinal Plants” (IHAMP), Dr Dr Shahid Mughal said that “Institute for High Altitude Medicinal Plants” (IHAMP) will act as a “Centre of Excellence” for Research and Development of medicinal and aromatic plants found in the high altitude terrains of Himalayan region
Chairman Bhaderwah Municipal Committee further said that this prestigious Institute at Bhaderwahwill attract scholars and researchers from across the Indian as well as from the other parts of the world. “it will help to promote specialized skills and capacity building. It will also bring an upsurge in job opportunities and livelihood options for the entire region,” he added
