Governor, CS compliment Kupwara, Baramulla district administrations

JAMMU, DECEMBER 27: Governor Satya Pal Malik has complimented the district administration Kupwara for achieving major stride in Aspirational Districts Ranking by moving from 108th to 7th position in last 5 months.

The all-India ranking of 111 Aspirational Districts across the country was released by NITI Aayog today.

The Governor has expressed the hope that other districts will also take a cue from Kupwara to push the developmental and welfare indicators in their respective districts.

The Governor has also complimented the district Administration Baramulla for moving up several notches on Aspirational Districts ranking and standing at the top in the specific indicator of Financial Inclusion.

Meanwhile, Chief Secretary, BVR Subrahmanyam has also felicitated the District Administrations of Kupwara and Baramulla for their remarkable show in All India Aspirational Districts Ranking.

The Chief Secretary said the Governor’s Administration has initiated a slew of measures on developmental, welfare and governance fronts to bring a perceptible change on the ground and the District Administrations across the State are playing a key role in implementing these initiatives effectively for the larger good of the people.
