SAMBA, DECEMBER 27: District Election Officer, Sushma Chauhan today reviewed the progress of special summary revision 2018 here at meeting of the concerned staff.
Deputy Commissioner was appraised by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kulbhushan Kahjuria, regarding the achievements through a detailed power point presentation. He informed that Booth level officers assigned with the task of revision of special summary for upcoming election in the district have submitted their report till date.
The DEO exhorted upon the EROs, AEROs, Supervisors and BLOs to complete the revision of special summary including addition of new, left out voters and deletion of duplicate and dead voters before the assigned due date. She told that after successful camps held at each polling station in last week, special camps will be held at school levels from 1st January to 4th January 2019, for registration of new voters who have attained the eligible age . It is imperative for all concerned officers to work diligently and enthusiastically for having a healthy and viable voter list of District Samba, added the Deputy Commissioner. \
Later, the DEO sought explanations from the Booth level officers whose performance was below the target.
Vijay Kumar Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur, Khalid Hussain Dy. District Election Officer, Raman Chalotra Tehsildar Vijaypur besides other official were present at the meeting.
