PULWAMA, JUNE 27: Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Mohammad Ahsan Mir inaugurated two -day Inter-zone Sports event at cricket stadium Pulwama.
Event is being organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports.
Teams from all the zones of Pulwama are participating in VolleyBall, Kho Kho And Khabbadi.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner said the purpose of organising such events is to nourish the sports talent and development of team spirit among the youth. He said the youth of the state have an immense potential to excel in this field.
The ADC lauded the efforts of the District Youth Services and Sports Department for holding such events in the district and assured every possible help for the promotion of sports at the grass root level.
The other officers present on the occasion were District Youth Services & Sports Officer Pulwama, Zonal Physical Education Officers, Physical Education Teachers and other concerned officials.
