POONCH, AUGUST 28: District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Rahul Yadav today took stock of the disbursement of compensation to refugees.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar, Mohammad Shahzad besides concerned officers and representatives of refugee organizations including Sharanarthi Action Committee and Refugee Vikas Manch.
The meeting also discussed the issues pertaining to the process of disbursement of Central package for Refugees.
On being apprised of the difficulties in the process of disbursement such as incomplete documents, pending mutations and other issues related to legal heir, the DDC directed the concerned Tehsildar and other concerned officers to resolve these issues.
He asked the representatives of refugee organizations to provide the list of pending documents for further action. The representatives also submitted a memorandum to the DDC raising demand to make the process of disbursement of relief less cumbersome.
