KARGIL MAY 29: The 2562th Buddha Purnima was celebrated at PhotangGonpa Zanskar here today with fervour and gaiety.
On the occasion, a number of scholars threw light on the life and teachings of Buddha and urged upon people to follow his path.
President Zanskar Gonpa Association was the chief guest on the occasion. Children of various schools and village societies performed cultural programmes.
A huge number of devotees gathered at PhotangGonpa to celebrate the religious function.
