BANDIPORA, MAY 29: The Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) campaign was inaugurated by Chief Medical Officer Dr Bilques here at Bandipora today.
As many as 51430 children in the age group of 0-5 years are the target of the campaign and will be administered Oral Rehydration Solution in the district. For this purpose, 350 health workers and 425 ASHA workers have been assigned the job to identify these children.
It was given out that health department has a vigorous outreach programme to sensitize people about the fortnight campaign and for this purpose; seminars, awareness programmes and other related activities are being carried out across the district.
