Wanted criminal among three nabbed by Haryana police from Rohtak

Panchkula, June 29 – Haryana Police has arrested a wanted criminal, Devender alias Bichhu carrying a reward of Rs50,000 on his head, alongwith his accomplices from Rohtak during a night domination drive. With their arrest, 14 cases including four of loot and extortion took place in a day in Sampla and Kalanaurwere were unearthed.

          While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that as directed by Director General of Police, Mr B.S. Sandhu, a state wide night domination drive was conducted. During this, intensive night patrolling and nakabandi was carried out to conduct surprise check at various locations in the state including Rohtak.

          The arrested accused have been identified as Devender alias Bichhu, a native of Kheri Sampla, Sushil and Pawan alias Kalia, both resident of Sampla. Police had also recovered three country made pistols, six live cartridges and a swift car, which robbed from Delhi, from their possession. All the accused were produced in court from where they were taken on two day police remand.

          More cases are expected to be disclosed from the accused and continued raids are being carried out to arrest the absconding members of the gang.
