Chandigarh, November 28: Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh was on Wednesday advised bed rest after he developed slight fever.
He has been kept in PGI hospital for the night and will be discharged tomorrow morning after completion of some tests.
The chief minister was taken to PGI after he developed fever and complained of slight bodyache. The doctors conducted various tests, the reports of which were normal.
The doctors suspect that he’s suffering from “routine viral infection” and have advised him rest, besides medication.
Meanwhile, the official engagements for the day were called off.
