Traffic management around ElanteMall.
In order to mitigate traffic congestion around Elante Mall, Industrial Area, Phase-I, Chandigarh, citizens are requested to adopt the following measures:-
1. It has been decided that Taxi Cabs and Auto Rickshaws bound for Elante Mall shall not be allowed to enter the inner loop around Elante Mall. Rather, these vehicles have been provided an exclusive pick-up and drop area in front of the main entrance of Elante Mall using the link road approach from Verka Milk Plant, Industrial Area Phase-I, Chandigarh
2. Those who wish to use private transport to visit Elante Mall are advised to approach it from either Hyatt Hotel or HDFC Bank side. Others are advised to avoid moving on Purv Marg (between Tribune Chowk to Transport Chowk) and Udyog Path (between ISBT Sector 17 Chowk to ITI Light Point).
3. People who wish to visit Chandigarh Railway Station are advised to approach it using Madhya Marg only.
4. Inconvenience caused to the general public on account of these restrictions is regretted.
5. Chandigarh Traffic Police personnel will be regulating traffic and assisting the general public. We appeal to all to please cooperate with the police. We care for you!
