Belroo Bhaderwah, 28th December: Awami Ithihad Party workers along with the district president Najmus Saqib visited the village of Belroo located at a distance of around 30 kms. from the town of Bhaderwah, to interact with the local populace with the specific intention of gathering information about the present state of the area and the needs and demads of the residents.
AIP held public meetings in the area where in people expressed their views and shared their concerns with the party members.
Amongst various issues raised, the main concern raised by the people of the area was that of political victimisation which they were facing.
Najmus Saqib, distt. president of AIP, (distt. Doda) while talking to the people present in the meeting said that he understood completly the menence of political victimisation, it’s implications, and how political parties use it as a tool of persecution of poor and innocent voters.
He assured the people of the area that AIP stands by their side on the issue of political victimisation and will leave no stone unturned while fighting for their cause.
While talking to PAIGAAM, Najmus Saqib said that its not any particular party but all the parties across the political spectrum that indulge and propagate such behaviour.
He further told the PAIGAAM correspondent that AIP does not condone this type of negative politics and condemned the political parties for having such an attitude towards the electorate and use of such immoral tactics.
He stressed on the simplicity of thought and action of AIP supremo Er. Rasheed from whom the party workers derive their inspiration and termed him as the moral compass which guides the ideology of the party.
Senior leadership, Rashid Parvez and Touseef Mattoo who were also present in these meetings appealed to the people for their support so that AIP could lead the area and it’s people towards the path of development.
Najmus Saqib assured the people that AIP will work for the betterment of the people of the area in particular and society in general, without any discrimination, be it in the name of religion, region, caste , gender or for that matter on any ground.
Najmus Saqib also said that the state of Jammu and Kashmir has been deprived of good governance in which only unemployment and bloodshed is reigning instead of development.
Holding the political parties, which have governed J&K for the last seven decades, responsible for the present deplorable condition of state and it’s people , Najmus Saqib said that AIP will change the work culture and liberate the state from the evils persisting in the political landscape across the board. He assured the people that AIP will work towards the betterment of the state and it’s people.
