Bhaderwah, December 19 : AIP District Doda President Najmus Saqib condemned the Yogi government’s decision of not allowing Jumma Sallah ( Friday Prayers) at public places.
Najmus Saqib in his statement to PAIGAAM said that Yogi government wants to destroy India and rob off its plural character. “This is a very shameful act commited by the Yogi government at Noida where during Jumma Sallah Noida police started lathi charging Muslims praying there. Not only this police arrested imam of Jamia masjid.
Where does the slogan of ‘Sab Ka vikaas and Sab Ka sath’ stand then”.
“Modi and Yogi government have failed in all streams of development and are involved in only those actions that are polarizing the society more and more”, the statement reads.
Najmus Saqib said this is voilation of Constitution and voilation of article 25 to article 28 which ensures religious freedom to all imcluding Muslims.
He appealled to New dehli to lodge a case against Yogi for the voilation of constitution who has contested the election only on the base of communalism.
The long history of Muslims’ participation in India’s freedom struggle has been forgotten completely. Countless Muslim leaders were imprisoned and killed by the Britishers during the freedom movement , like Moulana Hussain Ahmed Madni, Moulana Ahmed Lahori, Ataullah Shah Bukhari and countless others.
Awami Itihaad Party, district Doda president appealled to New Dehli and UP police to take strict action against the culprits who violate the religious freedom of the Muslim community and commit inhumane act on the instructions of Yogi and Modi.
