BANDIPORA, MAY 30: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Sanaie today visited the house of Ghulam Qadir Kumar resident of BonporaAsham Sumbal, whose son Imtiyaz Ahmad Kumar died due to a falling tree yesterday.
The DDC expressed his condolence with the bereaved family. The DDC assured all possible support to the bereaved family. He directed the concerned officers to provide financial assistance under PMAY and Red Cross to Ghulam Qadir Kumar.
The DDC was accompanied by the officers of Local Administration.
Meanwhile, the DDC has ordered cutting of decayed and age-old trees near schools, hospitals, public places and roadsides across the district to avoid such accidents.
