Android app for flood alerts
The updated version of the android app, IFC Kashmir Flood Alert, for the flood alerts is available on play store, a post by Irrigation and Flood Control department said Friday.
The app, according the official IF&C page, has been updated free of cost by a young IT professional Arif Aslam, who along with his friends had initially developed the older version of the app while studying in college.
The free app uses push notifications about forecasts and flood alerts is ranked as the first flood alert mobile application of India, the post claimed.
