Floral tributes were paid to the policeman Saqib Mir who was killed today morning in a militant strike in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday.
A police spokesman said a wreath-laying ceremony was held for the slain cop at District Police Lines Shopian.
The spokesman said police officers led by DIG SKR Amit Kumar laid floral wreaths and paid rich tributes to the slain policeman.
It said among others, SSP Shopian, CO 14th Bn CRPF and other officers and policemen were present at the wreath laying ceremony.
