SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 29: Jammu and Kashmir Child Resource Centre (CRC) organised for the first time two workshops on various aspects of Child Protection here today.
The workshops were organized in collaboration with ICPS, Social Welfare Department and UNICEF. The workshops were held on the themes of Standards of Care and Compliance in Child Care institutions, and Psycho-Social and Mental Health issues among Children in Jammu and Kashmir.
Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi who was the Chief Guest in both the workshops deliberated on the need of participative approach and dialogue among all such stakeholders for better and secure future of Children.
Dr Shekhar Sheshadri and Dr Sheela from (NIMHANS), Dr Javaid Rashid, Assistant Professor, University of Kashmir, M Iqbal Bhat, Assistant Professor Central University of Jammu, Malika Ghalib Shah from UCL London delivered talks on various themes on child protection during the workshops.
