Srinagar, May 30: Militants on Wednesday late night attacked army’s patrolling party at Qaziabad forests in Kralgund area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources revealed that a group of militants opened fire upon the army party in the forest area.
The fire, according to sources, was retaliated by the army resulted into a brief gunfight.
However, there was no immediate report of any causality on either side, they said.
When reports last came in the searches to trace out the militant group is going on in the area.
