With the objective of sensitization and creating awareness on the topic of child rights Chandigarh Commission for protection of child rights in collaboration with education department UT Chandigarh organised a sensitization program through theater, poster making and Slogan Writing in Government Senior Secondary School, Sector-18, Chandigarh. This program was organised on the eve of world no Tobacco Day. The sensitization program is a deemed effort by Chandigarh Commission for protection of child rights towards child friendly Chandigarh. In this sensitization program various Government and private schools across the city were participated. On this occasion Sh. Mahavir Singh Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority (SLSA) was a Chief Guest.
Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights conducted competition of poster making slogan writing competition and theatrical competition on drug abuse child labour and POCSO Act sensitization. The results of these competitions are as under:
