SRINAGAR, MAY 31 – Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has hailed the contribution of outgoing Secretary J&K Legislative Assembly, M.R.Singh and described him as thorough gentleman and professionally sound. He said Singh worked with him during his tenure as Speaker Legislative Assembly and always maintained tradition of high standards while discharging his duties as Secretary and exhibited his skills in testing times.
The Deputy Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes and happy and prosperous post retirement life to M.R. Singh. Gupta personally visited the Assembly complex to convey his good wishes to the retiree. He also conveyed his gratitude to all the officers and officials of the Assembly Secretariat who were gathered in lawns of Assembly on the occasion for their wholehearted support to him during his stint as Speaker.
M.R. Singh attained superannuation today as Secretary J&K Legislative Assembly.
