DM Kishtwar vide order No. 144 of 2019 dates 28-02-2019 had directed all the Lisensed weapon holders to deposit their weapons at concerned Police Station. Since the last date for deposition of such weapons has expired, consequently under the supervision of Dy.SP DAR Kishtwar Sh. Adil Rishu, Insp. Suraj Pathnia of Police Staion chatroo lodged two FIRs viz FIR No. No 7/2019 and 8/2019 u/s 188RPC,21/25 (h) Arms Act at P/S Chatroo against 1)Ab Rehman S/O Khalil Malik R/O Zaidar chatroo 2) Mangat Ram s/o Jia Ram R/O Thalwal 3) Krishan lal s/o Rama R/O khawra 4) Gh. Hussain s/o Ali Rather 5)Nazir Ahmed s/o Mohd Ramzan 6) Ab. Ganim s/o Ali Naik all R/O Kuchal for not depositing their liscensed weapons in concerned Police Station, thus violating the DM Kishtwar’s orders. However, investigation of the case is going on and Kishtwar Police is identifying such more persons who have not yet deposited their liscensed weapons in concerned Police Station so that action under law is taken against them said SSP Kishtwar.
