Kaithal, June 30: A wellness clinic honoured 25 local women for making a mark for themselves in their fields here on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Soni was the chief guest at the “Aao milkar naari ko shasakt karen” programme. Mussoorie International School principal Shakuntla Vashisht and admission director Latika Chaudhary were special guests.
Among those honoured were Deputy CMO Dr Neelam Kakkar, Dr Amita Singhania, Dr Seema Jindal, Dr Ravinder Sood, Dr Raj Rani Garg, women’s police station SHO Rekha Rani, handball player Gurmail Kaur, Delhi Public School principal Jaspreet Mittal, Shemrock School principal Neelam Mudgil, Sanghan School principal Sheela Nain, Haryana Class X exam topper Isha Devi, national chess player Priyanka, social worker Jagmati Malik, Rani Huria and Sudha Gupta.
Soni lauded the organiser for honouring women.
Students and teachers of Mussoorie International School presented a cultural programme on the occasion.
