Five injured as Indo-Pak troops shell each other along LoC in Poonch

Srinagar: Five persons, including an army porter, were injured as the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

Reports said the exchange of fire started at about 5 PM along the LoC in Poonch and was going on heavily when last reports came in.

They said that five persons, including two children, as many women and an army porter were injured in the shelling.

Senior Superintendent of police Poonch, Ramesh Angral said that all the injured have been evacuated to a hospital where they are being treated.
