Barara (Ambala), May 1:Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that the ‘no loan waiver’ policy of the Bharatiya Janata Party for farmers would not have any negative impact in the election in the state. “The discerning farmers have realised that the BJP has made efforts to improve their profits instead of providing them loan waivers, which only make hardworking people lethargic,” said the Chief Minister.Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of the Vijay Sankalp rally here, Khattar also took a dig at the Congress’ Nyay scheme, saying that it could only be implemented if all other schemes were closed as the party had not disclosed how such a huge amount would be generated.

“The BJP will win all 10 seats of Haryana. Some political parties, with no base, have joined hands for the election. Even we used to go in for an alliance when we didn’t have a widespread base but now we have been getting overwhelming support from the people, who prefer the BJP because of its good policies,” the Chief Minister said. There is no comparison between Narendera Modi and Rahul Gandhi, while Mamata Banerjee, Mayawati and Chandrababu Naidu are already out of the fray, Khattar said.

“The Congress has been saying that the BJP only talks about nationalism, but the fact is that it is the Congress that has created such an atmosphere in the country. It is evident in its manifesto,” he added.

The Chief Minister declared that “transparency has been ensured and if any official seeks bribe, just send the information, I will deal with them.”

“Our information says that there is no house in Haryana without gas connection. If there is still any such family then it should submit its documents with the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department or the SDM and the applicant will get the gas connection within 48 hours. It is possible that some officials may take the excuse of model code of conduct being in force, I am warning such officials that they have to do public work whenever required. If there is any negligent official, we will deal with them after the election,” he said.
