Jammu: Dignity of labour is a concept prevalent in our society since time immemorial. The
basic purpose of educating a child is not to enable him/her read, write and speak
but to make them a citizen who is dutiful and understands the responsibility
towards other citizen and treats them equally. Proceeding with the same intent,
today the precincts of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu was filled with mirth and
exuberance where our children have organized a special assembly for our class 4
employees.
The special assembly commenced with welcoming all our employees with
reverence followed by a self composed song in their honour. Ensuing this a skit
was performed in the assembly which presented the real picture of workers on duty
in today’s era and how can a little effort from our side bring a drastic change in
their lives. Not only this, a thought provoking dance was also performed followed
by thrilling and delightful games for them. The entire assembly was organized by
Optimism House under the supervision of C.C.A incharge Ms.Trishna Sharma,
House Master Ms. Taniya and Vice-House master Ms.Geetika Sharma.
The assembly culminated by distribution of gifts to our support staff by the
Management members Ms.Sunakshi Anand & Mr. Harleen Anand. Principal Cum
Vice Chairperson Ms Rohini Aima who quoted that equal opportunities are
available for everyone but what we need to practice is the concept of equity. We
must teach our youth the concept of respect and regard for everyone out there so
such exploitation which is prevalent in our society may stop existing.
