Public Darbar held at several places in Ganderbal
Ganderbal, May 01: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan today chaired a day long public grievance camp at several places in the district where he listened to the public grievances.
The camps held at Barsoo, Lar and Panzin Kangan were attended by SSP Ganderbal, ADDC, ADC, ACD, SDM Kangan, CEO, Executive engineers of PDD, PMGSY, PHE and I&FC besides other officers of the district.
The public representatives on the occasion apprised the DDC about various issues relating to roads, electricity, schools, water supply, healthcare facilities and agriculture, besides demand for play fields in their respective areas.
Moreover, other demands that were raised during the camp includes model school for Barsoo, mobile connectivity issue in Barsoo, demarcation of grave yards and kahcharai, up-gradation of PHC Lar, Passenger shed, desilting and dredging of irrigation khuls, agriculture sub-centre for Lar, youth club, Tehsil library, macadamization of Kangan-Panzin link road and other demands of public importance.
Meanwhile, DDC gave a patient hearing to the deputations and assured them that their genuine demands will be addressed in a phased manner.
