New Delhi: A Haryana minister has come down heavily on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee not refusing to allow Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to land his helicopter in the state for his rally on Sunday.
State Health Minister Anil Vij said, “Chahe Yogi Adityanath ji ki rally ho, chahe Amit Shah ji yatra nikaalna chahte ho usmein rukawat daalti hai. Kabhi kisi ka helicopter rokti hai, isliye poori tarah se Mamata Banerjee wahi kar rahi hai jo Taadka kiya karti thi. (Be it the rally of Yogi Adityanath or the yatra of Amit Shahji, she puts obstacles in the way. She behaves like Taadka used to when saints performed yajna, as we see in Ram Leela).”

He went on to attack Banerjee with “Bengal isn’t someone’s property. The country has democracy so everyone is free to go there. Every political party has the freedom to be active there.”
Without any prior notice, the West Bengal government had, on Sunday, denied permission to land Yogi’s chopper at Balurghat. South Dinajpur BJP leaders and supporters then gheraoed the District Magistrate outside his bungalow in Balurghat. The BJP claimed that the DM was neither cooperating nor stating a reason for the decision.
