DC reviews, finalizes arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr at Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, JUNE 03: Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, today chaired an officers meeting to review and finalise the arrangements made for smooth celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Shakti Kumar Pathak, Additonal Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Kumar Parihar, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Paddar Varunjeet Charak, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Amir Hussain, President Municipal Committee Kishtwar, Administrator Auqaf Islamia, besides concerned district officers and officers from CRPF, NHPC were present in the meeting.
Issues regarding availability of water and power supply, ration, quality and rates checking of eatables, security arrangements and proper sanitation during the celebration were discussed in the meeting.
DC directed the concerned department to ensure un-interrupted water and power supply during the occasion. He asked the Police to make proper security arrangements around the Eid-Gah and Jamia Masjid during the festival. Besides, Traffic department was directed to deploy adequate number of traffic personnels to deal with traffic congestion. Municipality and FCS&CA departments were directed to check the quality and rates of eatables in the market.
