DDC inaugurates District Level Workshop on 7th Economic Census
Kathua, June 3: District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, today inaugurated District level workshop for smooth conduct of 7th Economic Census in the district.
In the workshop, detailed training was imparted regarding the procedure to be adopted in collection of data on various operational and structural variables of all establishments in the District by the Enumerators and Supervisors deployed by Common Service Centers (CSCs).
The District Development Commissioner directed the field staff to visit every household and establishment in the Enumeration Blocks assigned to them and capture complete and correct information on the Mobile Application developed for the purpose. He also stressed on meaningful and accurate data capturing as the data to be collected is of a great importance for planning of various Socio-Economic developmental activities in future at State and National level.
Among others the workshop was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh, Assistant Director Planning, Sidharth Anand, SSO from NSSO Office Jammu, Rajesh Sharma and Statistical Officers deployed for 2nd layer Supervision.
